Open Roles
Youʼll help shape the user-facing experience of our core platform. Working closely with design and backend teams, youʼll turn complex ideas into clean, intuitive interfaces. Your contributions will directly influence product velocity, reliability, and quality, helping us deliver a polished experience at scale.
● Build responsive, performant UI components and pages using modern JavaScript
frameworks
● Collaborate with product and design to refine requirements and user flows.
● Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs, improve performance, and enhance the
overall architecture.
● Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and documentation.
● Drive accessibility, usability, and front-end performance improvements.
● Contribute to CI workflows, feature flagging, analytics instrumentation, and
experimentation.
● Participate in code reviews and share best practices across the team.
● Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application reliability.
● Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS (Sass)
● Familiarity with testing frameworks (Vitest, Cypress, etc.)
● Experience with design systems, UI frameworks, or component libraries
● A proactive mindset toward improving tools, processes, and user outcomes.
● Nice to have: Experience with analytics tools, notifications/messaging products, and/or
real-time systems.
● Compensation Range: $120,000-$150,000

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will help your team make forward progress on a number of high impact projects, and help drive architectural patterns and practice. You will be working with a distributed, remote-first team. Your day-to-day involves writing code, designing systems and services, mentoring and pairing with other engineers, and leading by example in our engineering organization.
● Design, build, and operate high-throughput, fault-tolerant backend services using Elixir in a distributed microservice architecture JavaScript frameworks.
● Own core services end-to-end, from system design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing reliability.
● Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs, improve performance, and enhance the overall architecture.
● Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into robust APIs and service contracts.
● Drive performance, resiliency, and observability improvements through profiling, instrumentation, and production tuning.
● Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, continuously improving system stability and operational practices.
