Overview
Customers are responsible for the security and use of any forms, websites, applications, APIs, or integrations that set up Member subscriptions, send messages, or otherwise interact with the Community platform or any other APIs, services, systems, or infrastructure we make available. We rely on the information customers send us and do not independently verify every signup or API request.
Anti-Abuse Controls and Liability
Customers must protect any external signup flow or API-connected form with reasonable anti-abuse controls, such as CAPTCHAs, rate limits, bot protection, phone-number validation, and monitoring for unusual activity. Customers are responsible for any fees, carrier charges, provider costs, losses, or penalties caused by SMS pumping, fraudulent signups, artificial traffic, unauthorized API use, or similar abuse resulting from their forms, systems, credentials, or integrations.
