What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Rethinking Retail Engagement: Why Property Managers Should Embrace Conversational SMS

Two girls sitting at a mall bench laughing and looking at a phone that's driving conversational SMS to deliver a better shopping experience
This is some text inside of a div block.

In an era where retail is evolving faster than ever, commercial real estate property managers are facing new challenges. The convenience of online shopping & commerce are strong alternatives to a day at the mall.  Decreased foot traffic, lower tenant occupancy, reduced revenue, and minimal shopper loyalty are not just trends, they’re red flags. Traditional SMS solutions haven’t kept up. They push generic, one-size-fits-all alerts to a disengaged audience, missing the opportunity for real connection.  And after all, spending a day at the mall with friends is all about connection.

The future? Two-way, conversational messaging. And Community is leading the way.

From Blast Texts to Real Conversations

Most SMS platforms still operate in a broadcast model: “Push a promotion, hope they show up.” But today’s shoppers expect more. They want personalized, engaging experiences that feel tailored to their needs, not robotic reminders or static mall maps.

Community transforms static communication into a vibrant two-way dialogue. Instead of mass messages that feel impersonal, shoppers receive timely, targeted, trackable texts that invite them to respond, engage, and become part of a shopping community. Whether it’s giving feedback, entering a contest, or asking about store hours, every interaction becomes a chance to build loyalty.

Driving Foot Traffic, Loyalty, and Revenue

Imagine building a text-based community for each shopping center, where visitors can opt-in for localized events, sales, and experiences that reflect their actual interests. With Community, you can break shoppers into micro-segments based on demographics and behaviors, then trigger targeted campaigns that drive them back into stores.

For tenants, that translates to more foot traffic and higher sales revenue. For property managers, it means increased loyalty, improved tenant retention, and measurable uplift in occupancy and tenant revenue.

Communications That Matter

Community enables a wide array of impactful communications and campaigns tailored to the commercial real estate environment:

  • Event Promotion: Text shoppers about upcoming seasonal events, grand openings, or holiday contests. Use QR codes for check-ins and track engagement.

  • Store Spotlights: Highlight a new tenant or in-mall promotion with media-rich messages that drive urgency and traffic.

  • Feedback Collection: Run quick surveys to learn what shoppers want, then actually deliver it.

  • Mall Navigation & Support: Replace clunky kiosk maps and bots with real-time, human-like responses via SMS.

  • Loyalty Programs: Reward frequent shoppers with exclusive perks and personalized deals.

  • Tenant-Specific Campaigns: Allow retailers to run opt-in campaigns to attract repeat business and notify their loyal base of new offers or arrivals.

Each message isn’t just another text, it’s a touchpoint that can be tracked, optimized, and measured against ROI.

Why Shopper Data Matters

One of Community’s most powerful differentiators is its ability to collect and act on first-party data. Through natural, conversational interactions, you’re not just broadcasting messages, you’re learning who your shoppers are, what they want, and how they behave.

This gives you:

  • Deeper relationships and connections with shoppers
  • Real-time campaign performance data
  • Demographic insights per mall or region
  • Budget efficiency and spend tracking
  • Membership growth metrics
  • Behavior-driven segmentation tools

This first-party data transforms your marketing from guesswork into strategy, allowing you to adapt quickly, prioritize high-performing centers, and allocate resources where they’ll drive the biggest impact.

A Platform Built for Scale and Simplicity

With Community, you gain centralized control across your portfolio, standardizing data, funding, and performance tracking, while giving each center the tools to build hyperlocal engagement campaigns. Teams can move fast, stay relevant, and act on real-time insights without needing heavy tech support or long rollout times.

Property managers today don’t need more tools, they need better ones. Ones that can deliver value now. Community is easy to implement, intuitive to use, and fast to generate results.

Create The Best Shopper Experience and Build Loyalty:

Commercial real estate is no longer just about managing square footage, it’s about creating shopper experiences that build loyalty, support tenants, and drive revenue. Traditional SMS can’t deliver that. Community can.

It’s time to move beyond mass messaging. Engage your shoppers in two-way conversations, capture the data that matters, and grow your properties with Community – the conversational platform built for real estate engagement at scale.
